I received an email that I'd like to share.

Obviously the author is quite erudite on the

human-nature interface. An alternative opinion I

treasure. An tremendously wise one is worthy of

deep consideration.

We can tend to become so myopic in our view of

things, in this case the protection of nature,

that such cogent and non-conformist views never

come to light.

I want to thank Michael for taking the time to

offer his thoughts. We all have something to

learn from the community of eco-concerned.

Albeit without his permission and with the

thought that his theories are posted on numerous

Keep up the good work. I enjoy all the messages that you send to me.

Mountain bike crashes remind me of the skate board type of crashes that the kids around here seem to think is fun. The city even built them their own skate board park. They are a damn nuisance because of the noise they make.

But we know kids are stupid, What can be the excuse of adults I wonder?
